📢 New Dataset Release!
The MSLesSeg dataset for Multiple Sclerosis Lesion Segmentation is now publicly available — and we’re thrilled to announce its official publication in Nature Scientific Data!
🧠 MSLesSeg marks a milestone in MS research: it is the largest expert-annotated dataset for MS lesion segmentation currently available at the state of the art.
📊 The dataset includes multimodal MRI scans acquired from patients with MS, enriched with expert-validated lesion masks, comprehensive clinical data, and benchmark comparisons against cutting-edge segmentation algorithms.
🔎What can you use MSLesSeg for?
🤖Developing AI-based segmentation algorithms
🩺Advancing clinical and translational neuroimaging research
💻Evaluating and comparing automated methods in realistic scenarios
🏆 A portion of MSLesSeg was successfully used in the ICPR 2024 MSLesSeg Challenge, which gathered strong international participation and confirmed the dataset’s value for benchmarking AI approaches in medical imaging.
