New Dataset Release!
The MSLesSeg dataset for Multiple Sclerosis Lesion Segmentation is now publicly available β and weβre thrilled to announce its official publication in Nature Scientific Data!

MSLesSeg marks a milestone in MS research: it is the largest expert-annotated dataset for MS lesion segmentation currently available at the state of the art.

The dataset includes multimodal MRI scans acquired from patients with MS, enriched with expert-validated lesion masks, comprehensive clinical data, and benchmark comparisons against cutting-edge segmentation algorithms.

What can you use MSLesSeg for?

Developing AI-based segmentation algorithms

Advancing clinical and translational neuroimaging research

Evaluating and comparing automated methods in realistic scenarios

A portion of MSLesSeg was successfully used in the ICPR 2024 MSLesSeg Challenge, which gathered strong international participation and confirmed the datasetβs value for benchmarking AI approaches in medical imaging.
A huge thank you to all co-authors for their outstanding contributions!
