ICPR 2024
I’m excited to announce that our paper, “ICPR 2024 Competition on Multiple Sclerosis Lesion Segmentation – Methods and Results”, has been accepted at the International Conference on Pattern Recognition (ICPR 2024)
This report summarizes the outcomes of the MSLesSeg Competition, which challenged participants to develop methods for the automatic segmentation of multiple sclerosis (MS) lesions in MRI scans.
The competition utilized an innovative and annotated dataset, featuring MRI scans of MS patients, including follow-up scans acquired at multiple hospitals. The goal was to develop algorithms capable of autonomously and robustly segmenting lesions across different timepoints and on previously unseen patient cohorts, with no need for manual interaction.
All participants have made innovative contributions, representing a significant step forward in the automatic segmentation of MS lesions
The methods proposed by the teams and the results of the competition will be presented at ICPR 2024, which will take place in Kolkata, India.
The MSLesSeg-dataset will soon be published as open access. Stay tuned for updates on how to access this valuable resource!
