Posters Submitted to ICVSS 2010

The International Computer Vision Summer School is especially aimed to provide a stimulating space for young researchers and Ph.D. Students. They will have the possibility to present the results of their research on the topic of the school, and to interact with their scientific peers, in a friendly and constructive environment.

Accepted students may submit a poster to present their research activity. The poster should be submitted before 10 May 2010, 23:59, GMT +2:00, Italy Time. Suitable space will be reserved to students for showing their posters. The electronic version of the posters will also be available from the ICVSS web site.

POSTER GUIDELINES
The poster should be written in English and should be sent (Poster Submission) in a printable pdf format. A LaTeX template to efficently design pretty posters is available (template).
For your poster, a board will be provided which measures 90cm tall by 70cm wide. You need to print and bring with you the poster to the school. Push tacks or velcro adhesive will be provided at the conference to mount your poster to the board.

SUBMISSION NOT SATISFYING THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES WILL BE REJECTED:

TITLE: The paper title should be in ALL CAPITALS. The title must be representable in the Unicode character set.

AUTHOR LIST: The authors' names must meet the following format: "Surname1 N1., Surname2 N2., Surname3 N3., etc." The order of the authors on the poster should exactly match in number and order the authors typed into the online submission form.

ABSTRACT: Each poster should contain an abstract of max 500 characters. The abstract on the poster should exactly match the text that is submitted electronically.

POSTER SIZE: 90cm tall x 70cm wide

BEST PRESENTATION PRIZE
A selected subset from the submitted posters will be selected by the school committee for short oral presentation. A best presentation prize of 700 € (supported by Toshiba Research Europe) will be given to the best presentation selected by the school committee.

SCHOLARSHIP
A scholarship of 600 euros (grant offered by the GIRPR) will be awarded to the best PhD student attending the school. The decision will be made by the School Committee at the time of the School, taking into account candidates'cv, poster and oral presentation. All PhD students attending the school will be considered for the GIRPR grant.
